Our Fun Foundations Volunteers lead playgroups at our farms to ensure that children are receiving age-appropriate stimulation while their guardians are hard at work! Every week, the volunteers come to our Community Center to design educational resources for their playgroups by using cereal boxes and bread bags to make ropes, numbers and letters. We’re getting creative and recycling!

Before beginning her work as the Marketing & Communications Coordinator at Thanda, Alicia was a Healthy Youth Advisor for the U.S. Peace Corps in South Africa's neighboring country, Lesotho.
