Mnqobi is in Grade 4 in our After-school Programme. He enjoys skateboarding and watching movies for fun. When we asked Mnqobi who his hero is, he responded: Captain America. Why? “Because he can use his shield to protect people.” Mnqobi says he is a hero, too, because he protects his younger friend, Khanyisile, when other kids want to bully him. Participants in our After-school Programme learn about heroes through movies, comics, stories, discussions, activities and more.
