Our first ECD program taking place outside of our Community Center has officially started! We helped the Ndunge community renovate an old hall, where we now have two ECD classes. Before, this area had no early learning programs, as most were too far away for children to attend. Now, children in the Ndunge community can enjoy our innovative curriculum, setting them up for lifelong success.
Before beginning her work as the Marketing & Communications Coordinator at Thanda, Alicia was a Healthy Youth Advisor for the U.S. Peace Corps in South Africa's neighboring country, Lesotho. In 2014, she graduated from the University of Denver in Colorado, USA with a degree in International Health and Development.
