We rolled out the “Unrest Unpacked” curriculum when we returned to our programmes after a COVID-19 lockdown and an extended closure due to the provincial unrest in July. This specially designed curriculum uses storybooks to explore themes like entitlement, theft and wants versus needs. The activities and learning sessions encourage children, farmers and guardians to ask questions, examine their feelings and consider the situation from different perspectives.
