A couple weeks ago, a team of Unilever employees from Durban came to volunteer with us. They spent the day painting buildings & storage spaces, installing a rainwater irrigation system for our garden, creating outdoor learning spaces, building more nesting boxes for our chicken coop, cataloguing library books and laying pathways around our Community Centre. The work they did is truly invaluable, as it contributed to a much larger goal of creating a space that community members are proud of and an environment where kids feel safe, motivated, and hopeful. Everyone really came together to make this day spectacular and we are so grateful to the Unilever team for their help!
