Using yarn, tape, scissors and cardboard, After-school Participants constructed robotic hands. This fun, hands-on science lesson simulates finger anatomy and sparked discussions on how tendons move fingers, technological innovation, and physiology. We loved this activity, and are still thinking of all the ways our robot hands can do our house chores!
