Letting Adults Play

In partnership with the nearby NGO Siyakwazi, we are committed to inclusive learning classrooms. Beyond training our Facilitators to utilize this knowledge in their lessons, we invited guardians to Thanda to learn about play, learning disabilities, and how to assist their children in a commitment to lifelong learning. Needless to say, they also had a ton of fun learning and playing games, too!

Before beginning her work as the Marketing & Communications Coordinator at Thanda, Alicia was a Healthy Youth Advisor for the U.S. Peace Corps in South Africa's neighboring country, Lesotho.
