Meet Nokuthula

Nokuthula was born and raised in our community. From a young age, she’s been passionate about working with children and truly enjoys playing games with them. She has an incredible ability to understand children and guide them through a positive learning experience. She has two daughters and one granddaughter, whom she loves helping with homework and reading. She is our ECD Programme Manager.

Before beginning her work as the Marketing & Communications Coordinator at Thanda, Alicia was a Healthy Youth Advisor for the U.S. Peace Corps in South Africa's neighboring country, Lesotho. In 2014, she graduated from the University of Denver in Colorado, USA with a degree in International Health and Development. She is passionate about photography and story-telling that is inspired by people, culture, and the human reality in our incredibly vast universe.
