The Colour Monster by Anna Llenas is a fun, bright pop-up book about a monster who explores his emotions through colour. It was a prominent theme for us this month… we read the story, used lids to count and learn colours, and made collages and colour wheels. On Valentine’s Day our pink and red attire matched the pages of the story perfectly!
Before beginning her work as the Marketing & Communications Coordinator at Thanda, Alicia was a Healthy Youth Advisor for the U.S. Peace Corps in South Africa's neighboring country, Lesotho. In 2014, she graduated from the University of Denver in Colorado, USA with a degree in International Health and Development.
