As the year closes, we are taking some time to reflect on the people in our local community and the impact our supporters have helped us make in their lives. At the heart of the community is the spirit of Ubuntu, and as such, Ubuntu is at the heart of Thanda.

Ubuntu (pronounced oǒ’boǒntoō) means: “I am what I am because of what we all are.”

In the next few weeks, we will be sharing stories from our community about what Ubuntu, community and Thanda means to us. Look out for photos and videos from us on our blog, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and email.
