We believe in building local capacity ...

Our staff ARE Thanda.

They take Thanda’s curriculum to our beneficiaries and care deeply about each person’s success.

We maintain a team of 120 staff members, 84% of whom are hired from within the community and most are youth ages 18-35. This means they have intimate knowledge and understanding of the families and neighbourhoods in which our children are growing.

Rigorous, ongoing training equips our team in both our proprietary curriculums and best-practise pedagogy.
